How GearGive Supports Nonprofits
GearGive converts resold donated sports equipment into monetary donations that support the nonprofits selected by community members running Gear Drives.
We partner with a wide range of organizations from youth sports nonprofits to schools, PTAs, and community-focused organizations because access to sports and play benefits every child and every community.
There is no cost to participate.
How it Works
Communities Collect Gear
Schools, youth leagues, PTAs, rec centers, businesses, and families donate gently used sports equipment through drives or permanent collection bins.
Gear Is Sorted and Evaluated
Resellable items generate revenue through our resale channels. Usable non-resellable items go exclusively to our dedicated gear-donation partner.
Funding Is Generated
When a group hosts a drive and selects your nonprofit, you receive the proceeds from the items that are resellable.
Transparency Comes Built-In
You’ll always know where your funding came from and the impact it represents.
